Ask others who have succeeded

Don’t trust in yourself –> idolatry, addiction, greed, fear

Looking to man for satisfaction = idolatry

Verse 8: Trap vs. Trial
We have NO control over someone else’s life, heart!!
- People are fickle
- If your response is blaming the person you’re missing the bigger picture

STOP blaming, defending –> FORGIVE
What will your response be in the 7 times hotter?
Turn from your wicked ways and ask God to forgive you

Prov 22:29

There is a point –> to burn off everything that’s binding you
Trust His timing
–> He will give you over
He called you out of a pit of hell

ASK, confess, forgive

I will bless those that bless you, and
I will curse those that curse you
